Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology And Obstetrics
The Department of Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, KNP College of Veterinary Science, Shirwal was established in 1991. Since then, this department has been involved in undergraduate teaching, offering various courses to undergraduate students to fulfill their academic needs. Apart from teaching, the department is also involved in research, clinical and extension education activities. This department has been offering the post-graduate course (M.V.Sc. degree course) to students since 2009-2010. Departmental teaching, research, clinical and extension education activities are undertaken in Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex; Livestock Research, Demonstration, Teaching Complex; Central Instrumentation Facility Complex; adopted villages; dairy cooperatives and surrounding villages. It undertakes animal infertility diagnosis using modern techniques, management and treatment work at Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex and in adopted and surrounding villages through clinical and animal health & infertility campaigns.
